Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026.
The plain version: we collect your email (and your first name, if you want to give it) when you join the list. A handful of services help us run the site. We don’t sell your information.
Who we are
Kettlebell.com is run by Tom Grow. You can reach us through the contact page.
What we collect, and why
Joining the email list
- Your email address, your first name (optional), the page you signed up on, the time, and the fact that you said yes to getting email
- That information sits in the site’s own database, and a copy goes to MailerLite, the service that sends our emails. MailerLite sends you a confirmation first. You’re only on the list after you click the link in it
- Why: so we can send what you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link
Keeping bots out
- The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile sees your IP address and some browser details (here’s Cloudflare’s privacy policy)
- To stop the same person submitting over and over, the site uses a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for about ten minutes. We don’t store your IP address with your signup
Visiting the site
- We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console (through the Site Kit plugin) to see how many people show up and which pages work. Google may set cookies for that. Visits by logged-in site editors are left out of the numbers
- We don’t run advertising cookies, and we don’t sell data to advertisers
Orders
We don’t take orders on this site at the moment. If that changes, this page will explain what we collect for orders and which payment and shipping companies are involved, before the first order is taken.
Who else sees it
Only the services that run the site: our web host (WPX), MailerLite (email), Cloudflare (the bot check) and Google (analytics). We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete it, or until we stop running the list.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe whenever you like, using the link in any email
- Ask what we have on you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it, through the contact page
- If you live somewhere with stronger privacy rules (GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California), those rights apply and we’ll honor them
Kids
This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
