Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 1, 2026.

Kettlebell.com should work for everyone. We build to WCAG 2.2 level AA, and we don’t use accessibility overlay widgets (they cause more problems than they fix).

What’s in place

  • Text and button colors are checked for contrast
  • Everything works from a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link
  • Headings, page landmarks and form labels follow a clear structure, and form errors are announced to screen readers
  • The signup form works without JavaScript (the bot check is the one exception, since it needs it)
  • Links that open a new tab say so, in text and with an arrow
  • We run automated checks with axe-core, and it found no problems in the site’s own markup at the time of writing

Where we’re still testing

  • Testing with screen readers, Windows high-contrast mode and 400% zoom is ongoing. We’ll update this page as results come in
  • Some archive articles from earlier years predate these standards and may fall short
  • Third-party tools, like the bot check (and payment pages, if a shop opens), have their own accessibility that we don’t control

Run into a problem?

Use the contact page. Tell us which page, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. We aim to reply within five working days, and real barriers go to the top of the list.

We can’t promise the site is perfect, and we won’t claim it is. Testing and fixing continues.
