Dave Schueller is in his sixth year as strength and conditioning coach for the University of Minnesota athletic department and his fifth year as assistant director of strength and conditioning for Olympic sports. He assists in the daily operation of the weight room. His primary responsibilities include implementing strength and conditioning programs for Women’s Rowing (Varsity and Novice) Women’s swimming and Men’s and Women’s diving, Women’s basketball, Men’s Gymnastics, as well as all other Olympic Sports.
Entering his 18th year as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Schueller has worked at many levels in athletics including the NFL, Division I and Division III and in the private sector as a performance enhancement specialist training high school, collegiate, professional and olympic athletes. Dave has also spoken on many aspects of strength and conditioning at various clinics around the country.
Schueller is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA weightlifting, National Academy of Sports medicine, He is also a member of Minnesota’s Governors council on Physical Activity and Sport and is CPR and First Aid certified with the American Heart Association. Schueller holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science.
